Mano River Union Trade Policy Harmonization Project

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the growth of intra-regional trade, investment, public safety and empower women cross-border traders in the MRU region with a view to enhancing their income earning capacity and alleviating poverty within MRU. Specifically, it aims to undertake activities geared towards removing the administrative bottlenecks that hinder cross border trade thereby reducing the trade transaction costs and increase intra-regional trade, peace and security in the region.
